[duxuser] replacing hard spaces

Hi folks
I normally have no trouble doing search and replace for codes within a dxp
document. For some reason, I'm not able to replace the hard space ['] with
[p] because dbt says it can't find the hard spaces. I know they're there
because I can see them with codes switched on.I put them there myself with
alt f2. Codes are switched on when I'm trying to do the search and replace,
and I'm using control left bracket and typing the apostrophe in between
them.
Any ideas? I'd rather not replace them all manually.
