You will never find any hard spaces in any document by using that method, as far as I know. This is how I search for hard spaces in a file: 1. Press <ALT+F3> to turn on Reveal Codes. 2. Press <F6> to open the Search and Replace dialog box. 3. Press the <F5> key to open the codes list. 4. Press the apostrophe key. This will highlight the hard space code. 5. Press <ENTER> to place the code into the Search for Edit Field. 6. If more than one hard space exists in a file, for example, there were several hard spaces in groups of 4 clustered together throughout the file, steps 3, 4 and 5 would have to be performed 4 times in order for each hard space to be placed into the Search For Edit Field. 7. Press the <TAB> key to go to the Replace With Edit Field. Now, you can enter the replacement character or DBT code that will replace a single hard space or multiple hard spaces. 8. <TAB> to the OK button and complete the Search and Replace function.
