Full circle: this topic reminds me of back-translating a DXB file. Two codes, the print code and the braille code. As soon as the braille code is set to contracted braille, there is no longer any true representation, letter for letter, symbol for symbol, and that is the reason we use contracted braille; to make the print code less cumbersome and to provide a reader friendly document.
