Hi,
I have downloaded the sample version of scientific notebook to try it out. Unfortunately I can't seem to get it installed
Can you give me any suggestions?

We have been translating quite a few math materials over the past two years and often use Scientific Notebook to check files before bringing into Duxbury. A page of information about Duxbury/LaTeX conversion -- the .tex format that Scientific Notebook creates, can be found at http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/yasuhara/tmp/dss/latex/

.tex files can also be opened or edited in a plain text editing program, which is how hardcore LaTeX users sometimes operate. These files can be opened in Scientific Notebook. Generally speaking, you should have no problem, but check the above page for some "gotchas" we've found.

Does anyone out there use Scientific Notebook with Duxbury? I am somewhat
familiar with the software from my old days in Chemistry, but have never
used it with Braille Translation Software. Is there a particular way you
need to save the file to open it in Duxbury and then translate? Any short
cuts, quick tips etc would be greatly appreciated!
