HI Ann and all Thanks for your reply. I have no other tab stops set so didn't think I needed to clear anything first. What is happening is this. Here's what I've got in the file key sig [tbs10] [tab]key name[l] Instead of the key name appearing in cell ten, it goes to the new line. If I just press the tab key instead of doing [tab] there is just one space but again no move to cell ten. For subsequent lines of the table, the same happens. How do I get the second column to appear in cell 10 having set the tab stop in the first line. Is this making sense? Many thanks Lisette ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ann Foxworth" <Ann.Foxworth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 01, 2002 8:51 PM Subject: [duxuser] Re: tab stops Hi Lisette Did you enter the code [ctbs] before setting your tab stop? That will clear the tabs that are already there. Ann Foxworth, Computer Braille Specialist Texas Commission for the Blind 4800 N.
