Hi Ketan, You need to turn off "smart quotes" in Word. I'll have to describe this for Word 2003, so it may be a slightly different process for earlier versions. (You didn't say which version of Word you have.) From the Tools menu, Select "Autocorrect". You will probably have 5 Tabs. You need to look at two of these, "AutoFormat as you Type" and "Autoformat". Look for a check box on each of the above labelled '"Straight quotes" with "smart quotes"'. Uncheck it. Test this with a new Word document, and see if that resolves the problem when you import it into DBT. I'm afraid that with existing documents, you will have to do a search and replace.
