Yes, sometimes I have to repeat my commands to my Alexa third generation
dot. I think it happens for two reasons, sometimes being too far away from
it, the second if the volume on the device is too high for it to pick up my
voice.
In general, it works well.

I got an Echo Dot Fourth Generation for Christmas, and love it, the sound
quality is much better than the third!, but what I've noticed, and it was
the same with the third too! That I've sometimes to shout louder and three
times for Alexa to acknowledge me. Does anyone notice that too? And does it
happen to them also?
