I would like to say that it was very nice taking part in this meeting.

I found an very good smartphone which is samsung S22+ which I am planning to
buy it shortly.
I had to leave early on the meeting as I had another meeting.
Also with the files either to one drive or other folders I would like to add
something that it might help.
So yes I agree on opening the file explorer by window and e together.
Then finding the file. Here is an good tip when you are tabing few times
you get to quick access and you can press the letter of the folder and same
to the file. I find this much quicker then pressing the down or up arrows
it helps me a lot. Yes do not open the file and press controll with C
together. Once you have it coied then press the backspace to get back to
the folders and backspace again it brings you the quick access and you can
press o on its own and it should bring you the one drive or if you are just
looking for drive press d you may have to press the letter d few times as if
you press it like once it could just bring you the desktop or downloads
or documents. Once you are in the right folder like for example drive
pres conroll and V together. Also if you just want to get to the folder or
file but do not want to copy or pastre it it works very simlar so open file
explore with window and E together. You should be in quick access and press
the letter or somethings the seond letter of the name of the folder as it is
much quicker then tabbing the hall list once you have the folder you can do
the same type in the letter of the file name. You may have the press the
letter few times as if there files or folder with this letter once you press
enter and it opens the file. Here is an good tip too if you have opened
last files you can press the windwo and E together and press the down errow
key once or twice and it brings you the resant files. Of course if you lots
of files that where last open it may not show in the resent files. This is
why it is important to fave the files into folder.
If you have files that are not needed in the resent files you can press
control and f10 together this open is the contance minu which you have to
press down arrow key until you find remove from quick access. If you press
on the remove from quick access the file will not be any more in the resent
files. To delate an file or folder go into file explorer window with E
together and press the letter of the folder you have to type the same letter
few times if it is not finding the folder you are looking for if you want to
delate the folder and you are on the folder that you want to delate then do
not open it just press the delate key and the folder. It is the same with
the files. Go into file explorer window key with E together then press the
letter for the folder then press enter on the folder. Once you have that
done type in the letter of the file do not open it and once you
are on the file that you want to delate press the delate key. Also if you
want to rename an file or floder you are in file explorer window with E and
once you are the right folder then press f2 and type in the name you want to
have and press enter. The same way with files be in the file explorer
window with E press the letter of the folder once you have this press enter
and then press the letter of the file and do not open the file just press
f2 and input the new name.
Sorry if some you know this but I think it is good to share it anyway. It
might not work for everyone.
Also with the emails what about if you copy the link into notepad or even
word. Also if the email is in html and people are not understanding copy
the email and paste it into word and press the alt a for save as and then
press z and you wil have save as and save it as doc or like microsoft and
see does it change to normal text. I am not sure will does work I will try
for the meeting to find out more as there should be an way to transfer it to
just text not code.

The lively Cork meeting braced itself to deal with the many stories of
corruption on almost every front.
Pat made valiant efforts to send an uncorrupted URL to the FB-Exchange
list without success. The issue is tangled up in the dilemma of
character encoding and the format of messages in text or HTML or a
combination of both.
Initial work-arounds have been reported in previous meetings. Sadly,
the steps to resolve those difficulties are frustrated by slight
changes in the operating system and in newer versions of email programs.
What is clear, is that emails containing links on the iPhone often
appear in Outlook or web mail on the PC as plain text showing the
originating as corrupted text or showing the original HTML code which
is difficult for an untrained, non-programmer, to read and understand.
The resulting email is meaningless to its recipient.

Victoria is looking for the best Android smart phone to buy. Jackie
recommended the Google Pixel as the one recommended for use with Talkback.
Jackie is having a problem with getting IOS to focus on a specific
email in a list. When she double taps on the spoken link, a different
link opens up.
It
was suggested that swiping right once the email is spoken and then
swiping back to the email might ensure that the correct email will open.
A second problem experienced by Jackie, Ken and Stuart, is that a
strange logo appears randomly, spoken by voiceover but not physically
present on the IOS screen. No amount of resetting the app or turning
the phone on and off prevents this event from occurring. Furthermore,
it has proved impossible to recreate it at will and so it cannot be
reported to Apple or to Audible for a solution.
Chris has a problem in Audible where a book which he had fully
downloaded to his iPhone and had begun reading, disappeared from
Audible when he opened up the app next day. Since the book was paid
for and already downloaded, no explanation could be found.
Martin was delighted to hear that he could simply copy a file from
within his documents and paste it onto a USB drive in the following
way:
1. Press Windows and E to open File Explorer;
2. locate and open the "D" drive ( this is the drive for his current
USB connection);
3. locate the file on the PC;
4, Copy the file without opening it;
5. Paste the file into the "D:" drive window and the file should now
appear on the USB file list.
Paul found the Vodafone service very poor in repairing his iPhone SE.
The phone is only a few months old. and still under warranty.
Vodafone, claimed that they could not put his name on his phone
because of GDPR! They also failed to provide any information on what
repair, if any, had been carried out. He received a phone from
Vodafone but cannot be sure that this is the same phone that he left with
The meeting recommended that repairs should be sent back directly to
Apple to avoid this type of confusion.
The group advised that Paul make sure that the backed up data is fully
working before moving the SIM card from the current phone into the
repaired one.
Ken feared a corrupted link when trying to join a Zoom meeting recently.
The
link refused to open when he tapped on the line of text that included
the link. Jackie explained that he needed to move word by word until
he found the actual word that contains the link. This often catches
the screen reader user who logically expects the entire prompt to
activate the link. When navigating in a PC-based email it might be
best to hit the tab key to find the link.
In
the case of IOS, turning the rotor to "links" and swiping up or down
would bring the user to the actual link whether it was many words wide
or only one word wide.
The meeting ended in an orderly manner.
