Hi All,
Another update relating to the Covid mobility plans that are due to kick off
tomorrow morning.
Works are planned for the widening of the footpath at College Green between
Trinity College and Church Lane. This measure will create additional space
for queueing at the bus stops at this location while leaving the footpath
clear for pedestrians.
Works will take place from 10am on Wednesday the 24 June 2020 until midnight
on Saturday 27 June 2020. While works are being carried out, outbound bus
services at bus stops 4521 and 4522, will be moved to stops 1278 and 1279,
located on the adjacent street to the west. This will affect routes 13, 27,
40, 49, 56a, 65b, 77a and 151 for the period of works after which usual
service will resume with enhanced footpath space available. To note:
. Pre-Covid an average of 20,000 pedestrians walk on the footpath
outside Abercrombie and Finch Daily
. The new measure will maintain a lane for other buses and traffic to
overtake buses stopped at the enhanced bus stop
. Bollards and any other necessary street clutter will be removed
