Goicked forward, to land on his head! It was too light to hurt, plus, =
being a goldendoodle, he had loads of fluffy curly, hair, so was well =
padded, he would go down flat on the ground, no matter where! Hdidn't =
just lay down, he flattened every part of his body, front and back legs
extended straight fore and aft! Doodles can do this, plus, on a slippy
floor, the splits, with no harm done! He also did this whenever I
sneezed. He didn't mind anyone else sneezing, just me! I remember him
doing the whole flat dog thing up some steps onto the bus in Dublin, I =
had let go the handle, keeping only the lead, to sort out my pass, the =
handle got knocked, or, possibly, helpfully repositioned by a well =
meaning, member of the public, anyway, he looked so bizarre that he got
a round of applause! While Zyon, who I say is the most unsesitive, =
physically, of all my dogs ever, has actually one response which is his
alone and quite extraordinary. If you shock him, which used to be much
easier than it is now, he goes up in the air. He reminds me of a deer. =
He goes up and backwards. He feels like he is floating away! I assume he =
is making little steps with his back legs, with his front legs held out =
to keep all threats away. Once he has done the "flight" mode, you can =
never get him to do the thing you were trying, before the flight, you =
either have to let that one go or have at it from a totally different
perspective.
