Following on from my Jaws issue at today's meeting, Sean remotely went onto
my computer and saw that my 2020 version was not eligible for an SMA because
I purchased my computer with Jaws installed from NCBI'S TAG scheme, and not
from Sight & Sound. I've never purchased any of my Jaws versions, they've
always been pre-installed on my computer when I get them from NCBI. So I
might investigate this further on Wednesday evening's Sight & Sound WebinAr
event. How do I assign a shortcut for Jaws to turn on if it's off?
He also sorted out why I wasn't getting the number of my area when the
weather in my Flash Briefing was being read out. And I wasn't aware that
there was an Alexa Website like the App, so I can e-mail the Alexa team
regarding the Alexa's Joke skill that I can't remove, and now I discovered
that there's an Apple Podcasts skill on the Alexa Website in my Skills, and
not on the speaker itself, and I don't know how it got there either!
