Introduction to Siri on Apple iPhone
Date: Monday 18th Sept 2.30 - 3.45pm
In this training session, we present an introductory overview of Siri, the
virtual assistant available on Apple products and which uses voice
recognition to undertake and complete a variety of tasks. We will explain
how it may be used by people who are blind or partially sighted when using
their Apple iPhone.
Practical examples for which Siri may be used, such as getting information,
making telephone calls, texting, to name but a few, will be demonstrated and
participants will be given time to undertake specific tasks using Siri on
their own Apple iPhone. We will also highlight the limitations of Siri.
