Thanks for passing on the information re calendar. Unfortunately the problem is
that the 'default calendar' option is unavailable yo me on my iPhone. Girl has
entered an appointment for me but can't access it.

Dominique demonstrated friendly relations with Siri and how she can get Siri
to tell most things that she needs to know. She announced that the new
iPhone will be released within the next 24 hours. There was some discussion
about the different models currently held amongst those present.
Michael and Marion reported that they could not find an appointment in the
iPhone calendar after apparently setting it up. We found that this related
to the active calendar. We fixed Michael up but Marion was still in
trouble. It looks as though the iCloud Calendar has to be enabled. See

To see which account your calendars are in:
1. Open the Calendar app and tap an event to open it.
2. Tap the calendar name to see if the event is in an iCloud calendar.
Set an iCloud calendar as the default calendar:
1. Tap Settings > Calendar.
2. Tap Default Calendar.
3. Tap a calendar under iCloud to make it your default.

VioptaNav and other recognition software was also discussed.
Mary showed Michael how to switch between the front and back cameras of the
iPhone in Facetime and other recognition software.
