NCBI Labs is planning to roll out three training courses in the near future.

Introduction to iPad
Every iPad has numerous built-in accessibility options that enables anyone
with a visual impairment to use the device independently. These include the
ability to speak to your device to request information, use of magnification
and gestures; help read information displayed. If you would like to find out

Introduction to NVDA
NVDA is a free screen reader for Microsoft Windows that is now used in over
120 countries and has been translated into more than 50 languages. Using the
power of NVDA means that people with sight loss can continue to be active
members of the digital society, enjoying access to a range of online
services, as well as education and employment opportunities. If you would
like to get started using this screen reader, please register for our
Introduction to NVDA course.
Introduction to Smart Speakers (Amazon Echo)
In this course we explore the range of Amazon Echo smart speakers available
and how they can be used to help people who are blind or partially sighted.
We cover creating timers, reminders, setting alarms, shopping lists, and
initiating information searches by speaking to your device.
