many thanks for your comments on Open Office. I've taken a look through the
menus and they seem very comprehensive I would just intend using it for word
processing and maybe keeping a spreadsheet of household spending.

I think it will do the basics ok. For m= ore advanced work I would recommend
office but just for taking notes or rea= ding a few docs it should work ok.
