Hi Eleanor,
Thanks for the tip on the vat back and the problem with tax back on websites.
I remember meeting a guy at the Irish Guide Dogs in Cork who was
attending a FIghting Blindness Monthy support group meeting who was
able to get tax back on his iphone some how or other.
I can't remember this name though - Mary Lavelle would know the guy.
I suppose for me in the next 2 weeks, I will get the emobile select
100 bill pay for 18 months at 14.23 euro per month and that gets me
the iphone 16gb for 429. So after 18 months when the contract ends, i
can unlock it and it will have cost me a grand total of 429 + 14.23 by
18 = 685.14 euro.
Still for that cost, I will have a sim free unlocked iphone and will
have been able to make unlimited land line calls for the 18 months and
have the 100 mobile minutes and 100 texts.
I will still be using the o2 prepay sim in my nokia c5 with talks.
