I don't have Kurtzweil any more.
You should be able to see where your scanned documents are being stored by
noting the folder that is named in the "Save as" dialog.
When you have finished scanning the document, select "Save as" from the file
menu. This dialog allows you to select the palce where the file is to be
stored. It also lates you give the documnt a name that makes sense to you.
Finally, you can save it a s any of a number of file types, such as .PDF, Word
File, Excel File, Text file, etc.

Thank you so much, it sounds much less complicated that I expected. I am using
Kurtzweil, but also use JAWS, for OCR, I can use whichever you suggest is the
most convenient. Also if you could let me know about filing the scanned
document.

Anyway, make a note of where your scanned files are to be placed. I
can go into that if you need to. I will need to know what OCR software
you are using.

4. Press right arrow and then down-arrow until you reach "Email"
5. press enter and fill the usual details into the email fields.
You will notice that the scanned file is now attached to the email you
