Just to add to Cearbhall's excellent pointers:
Many of the League members are also involved with Clare McLoughlan's
"Seen-Unseen" Arts/Gallery's Projects and where possible we physically visit
the exhibition or attend on Zoom to participate in the given event.
A number of us VIP's also attend the Hugh Lane Gallery on the last Tuesday of
each month for an Audio Description of a featured exhibition.
So! I hope that you can mention these on-going VIP AD (often hands on) Projects
when you are next speaking with your sister.
PS: Clare McLaughlan also has her own Website so all her various projects can
be accessed there.

I was wondering if you or any other blind or visually impaired people you know
have any thoughts on heritage museums and cultural places in general with
regard to accessibility. The reason I ask is that my sister lectures in
heritage in UCD and I am going to talk to some students on Tuesday over there.
These are students of heritage and as part of their studies, they would like to
know how best to facilitate people with disabilities in heritage museums,
cultural museums and exhibitions, and obviously the issue of those with a
visual impairment is relevant here hence the reason I am involved with this
project. I would appreciate if you could consider this and forward it to anyone
who you feel could help with the above.

It was a haunt of many of us back in the day and you couldn't get much
closer to the League that's for sure.
Hotel prices are very expensive now IMHO almost double price at
weekends to add insult to injury as they say.
