Visionaries Choir..
With thanks
Carol Carr
Hello All,
Perhaps you have already heard about the Visionaries choir, but now that we are
in to the Autumn term, it may be a good time, to encourage any one who may be
interested, to come along, and try out, Irelands only choir for visually
impaired people, appropriately named, The Visionaries Choir. You do not have
to have a great singing voice, but just an openness to try it out and see how
you get along. The Visionaries are a choral choir, who welcome men and women,
there is a place for all, those with previous experience of singing in a choir,
and equally, those who are beginners. We sing a wide range of popular songs and
audio files Are made accessible to choir members to assist in learning new
songs. All we ask, is that you are able to make a commitment to turning up on a
regular basis to attend choir practice, which takes place each Saturday
morning, from 10 30 a.m. to 12 noon, in
The School of Music
Fighting Blindness building
Number 7 Ely Place
Dublin 2.
If you would like to get more information about the Visionaries Choir, or
require directions to Fighting Blindness, Ely Place, you can contact, Helen
Sexton on 087 9718794.
We are very fortunate to have an excellent and highly experienced choir
master, Frank Kelly, under whose direction, the choir has enjoyed performing at
several conserts, and is growing from strength to strength. We would benefit
however From more members, so why not come and join us,, or even, just try it
out. Apart from the singing, you may also find that it has much to offer you
on many levels
Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi Veronica,
This is Harry over at Central Library in Ilac Centre. I am looking after the
Mist Talking Book Club here and I am trying to recruit a few new members. It's
for visually impaired people but not strictly.
I was wondering if you know anyone who might be interested in joining. We meet
on the second Wednesday of the Month At 11.am <http://11.am> . The current book
is Days Without End by Sebastian Barry. Next meeting on 10th Oct.
I have attached a copy of poster on display in Ilac .
Take care Veronica, and thanks.
Regards
Harry McMahon
