Albert reported that he could not access the Zoom meeting as he usually does
via the History page.
The history had disappeared , probably due to Zoom updating,
So he got in via Declan's e mail link.
Eamonn said he gets in on his desktop, but so
far has failed to access the Zoom meeting on his iPhone.
Mary was looking for information on the new iPhone SE, heard that the battery
life was poor.
Marian has an iPhone SE, AND said THAT ON the days of using it for a Zoom
meeting, she would have to charge the phone twice. This sounded ok, as far
as Paul and Mary were concerned.
Dominique could not get RTE Gold on her Alexa device or RTE 1 on her flash
briefing.
Paul and others got Alexa to play RTE Gold whilst at the meeting. Jackie
and Martha, suggested to add the Irish Radio Player to Alexa.
Declan got his Google home player to play his flash briefing, and it gave
the latest RTE news.
Annette had a problem with her web camera whilst using skype to contact her
son yesterday, the camera is part of her pc, but Declan suggested that she
contact the tech department at the
NCBI, where using the Team Viewer, they can access her desktop pc remotely to
solve the problem.
Cearbhall suggested to Marian to check her battery usage by going into
settings and swiping until she hears battery , and enter here where one can
see what each app is using of her battery.
A percentage is available here to show what apps are using the most of her
battery.
Monique reported difficulty in accessing another Zoom meeting belonging to
Frank, as there was two links,
Cearbhall said that the two links should be in the e mails.
Dominique has solved the problem by herself as to why her air pods were not
working for the Zoom meetings, she found a setting to enable her pods to
work fine.
Martin Wanted to know if deleting some apps, could harm his phone, apps like
Garage band, this app is put on by the apple engineers, but it can be
deleted, run your finger down the app until you heare edit then tap on screen
and you will get the options to delete or cancel.
Jackie explained to Eamon on how to create a new folder.
Bob wanted to know , if Mary was using her Bone conductors ear phones still,
she is and they are
