I encountered the same problem, Roman when I was ringing my service provider
Three On my iPhone. I was being instructed to choose the number one, two, three
or four on my iPhone keypad. I found it very difficult to hear my voice over
telling me which number my finger was on.
Now I hold my iPhone in front of me with the speaker on for the entire call. I
wait for a pause in the operator is voice and swipe left to right on the
keyboard. Even if I hear only one number it leaves me in the position that I
can flick left to right or right to left to choose what ever number I need.

It also makes it easier for me to find the End Buttom
This helps because as a matter of policy the Three company do not hang up on
customers they wait for customers to hang up on them!
All the best
Gerry
