Since the latest update for the tv guide app I found is hard to navigate the
app.
I think I found a simple work around.
By selecting your favourite channels helps to overcome this problem.
Open the tv guide app and tap to the menu button.
Swipe until you come to set favourites.
Choose one of your channels, double tap with one finger and hold it until you
hear a tone.
Voiceover will say favourite selected.
Do this for all your channels and it seems to remove most of the adds.
