Bert,
going off topic again by me, have you ever tried the British Wireless
for the Blind's radio app Speech Radio.
I found it good and I can add in as favourites any station I like quite
easily.
There is one thing I found not working is the ability to ask the app to
play stations butt apart from that not bad at all.
Quite strange or perhaps not RTE's response to you basically burying
their head in the sand.

I'd be interestted indeed to hear of your experience with the RTE Radio
Player app if and when you gett around to checking it out.
I believe too that Alexa and RTE radio are often not in loop with each other
either.

this is not an answer to your questtion but RTE have an app which I've just
discovered called RTE Radio Player and IMHO it's quite accessible.
There doing away by the way with the Radio 1 app this year.
