Subject: FRTM - The midnight ride of Isreal Bissell - FRTM Schedule 12.02.2010
I'm sure you have heard of
the midnight ride of Paul Revere. But, have you heard of the
ride of Israel Bissell? Israel Bissell rode 350 miles over
five days from Massachusetts to Philadelphia to warn colonists
of the British. Paul Revere only rode 20 miles, stopped to
see his girlfriend and was captured by a British patrol and
required to walk back home. Another myth made famous by a
poet.
If you want more of histories myths you will want to be
present tomorrow evening.
I have received several more confirmations so please check
below and confirm as soon as possible or I will have to make
other arrangements. I have cut our speakers to three when I
did not receive a confirmation from a scheduled speaker. I
still need either confirmation or a volunteer for the
remaining roles. Let me know if you are not attending so I
can give your role to someone else who really wants it.
