I'm sure you have heard of the midnight ride of Paul Revere. But, have you
heard of the ride of Israel Bissell? Israel Bissell rode 350 miles over five
days from Massachusetts to Philadelphia to warn colonists of the British. Paul
Revere only rode 20 miles, stopped to see his girlfriend and was captured by a
British patrol and required to walk back home. Another myth made famous by a
poet.
