Fellow Toastmasters,
I am looking forward to this week’s meeting. The theme is “elections”. Guess
what we will be doing (assuming we have a quorum). What is a quorum, you ask?
That means at least 50% of the member are in attendance. That will be
challenging since a large percentage is out making new people. We will carry
on. Oh, we are having ELECTIONS! Keep in mind, we have need of a VP-PR (Vice
President of Public Relations). Cheryl Lyons is currently doing it, but she is
having a life-changing event coming up. We want her focused on her new
adventure. I am leaning towards a younger member. Perhaps someone who has had a
baby in the last year. We will see if leadership is in the air on Thursday
night.
Look for roles coming out later today. You are thinking, “how could it get much
later?”. I have been known to send out emails at 4 a.m. which could be
considered early by some. Regardless, it will be late for me. I do know that
General Evaluator is open. First come, first served.
