I will 2nd CJ's comments last night.

We have a great Club and we each put our best foot forward in the Roles we volunteer for each week. Not true in all other Clubs-we have an energy our guests comment on and has them wanting to be part of it and wanting to join us every Thursday nite for our Games.

Last night a new member joined our Club and has pushed our Club to 38 members, our self-imposed cap to insure we all have speaking opportunities to grow as Speakers. But other clubs are not as fortunate, any many struggle to have enough to cover the roles without doubling up.

We will begin creating a preferred waiting list for visitors who come, visit and might like to consider our club until April when dues and renewal of Memberships occurs.

As VP of PR for our club, I can also help other clubs in the area add members by being proactive in Business Network groups I belong to and to the Chamber of Commerce's I belong to.

My good friend, Dana Teopel, owns Lake Arbor Automotive, a AAA Repair station and whom I take mine, Steven and soon Brittany's car to. Yesterday morning, Dana, invited me to a Leads group as a visitor and I was given an opportunity to talk about Home Video Studio for two minutes.

Now Dana and I were in another group 2 years ago and he said this to me after yesterday's meeting. "Steve I remember the first time you stood up in front of the Wednesday group and gave your one minute presentation vs. today. You are a much more polished speaker and I know you have credited this to belonging to Toastmasters". Dana is right. My year and a half in Toastmaster has made me much better-it has helped Paul become better and also for Steven. And for those who have been in the Club for awhile-well its why you come to our meeting. You have seen improvement in your Public Speaking Skills and how it translates to outside of our meetings to our daily lives.

So I will raise a Toast to Crystal, Ramsey (after your speech I know how to say it, but do I know how to spell it??) and Debby for there first step in improving their Public Speaking Skills with their Icebreaker speeches last night in front of our Club. Our standing ovation for each of you is to welcome you to the Art of Improving your Public Speaking Skills and to indeed be looking forward to your journey and to hearing your next speech.

Lastly, Jeff gave an outstanding Keynote Speech from an Advanced manual. I enjoy hearing Jeff speak, and for those who were there last night, I believe I have a red mark on my forehead, where Jeff's geometry teacher threw that eraser at me last night, confusing me with Jeff's schoolmate. Ouch!! With all of the talk about Schools and our education system there was credibility to hearing you talk about it from your 32 years of experience. Great Job Jeff.
