Sales training speech, Sell your story. Book signings. Big bowl of
chocolate and people come. Press releases. Pitching your story. Five
step process for press release. 1. Learn their needs. 2. Establish
trust. 3. Pitch your story, hangman analogy. 4. Answer their
questions. 5. Close the pitch, ask for the sale.
Speaker #2. Alan Wong
Feeling special. Copper Triangle bicycle ride with brother in law Jack.
Jack hurt his knee after aid station 3. Rode bicycle to aid station 4 on
one knee and was at the finish line for me. Robin showed up at a chess
tournament to give me support. Luis runs with me to give me support. I
will not remember the events or any lessons learned. I'll always remember
how people make me feel.

The failure point. Do you learn from your own mistakes? Rock climbing.
Car accident. I didn't see his eyes. Failure point is being aware and
being vigilant. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Contributions bring forth geniuses. Endless exploration and magic. Be

Not my Mother. If family members unable to speak on healthcare - oppose
this law. Put yourself in family members position and they are unable to
speak. Elder abuse. Patients choose do not resuscitate. Law going into
effect if there are enough votes.
Speaker #6. Russ Agnew
IT happened. Where were you when you watched your first scary movie?
Wonder what happened many years later to the survivors? It happened 20
April 1999, Columbine High School. Be present with experts. They teach to
prevent nightmares and IT saves lives. Battle the dark side. Point is IT
happens. Create leaders.
There were 10 members and two former club members as guests. Meeting
started on time and ended 8:50pm. (Bill would have been so proud). All
the speeches were wonderful. Every speech was different to the next.
Congratulations to everyone for participating. And the winning ribbon goes
to Dirk Kittredge. (yes, he's that good). Russ Agnew did a fantastic job
as toastmaster and the meeting moved along very smoothly. It was organized
and a nice change from the normal set up. The meeting was remarkable for
just how unremarkable everything seems. Until next week, I am your humble
