Single head modes work for all the same resolutions shown in the
spreadsheet. What is different is that the shimmering which is evident on
64 bit on most resolutions disappears in singlehead mode. 1680x1050 is hit
and miss on 64 bit. When it works it is unstable (lots of shimmering).
When tested with singlehead this last time, the screen went black.
