Well, I don't know then. Most things online say that TrueOS does not even
support MBR partitioning, and that it always has a graphical installer :/
I really suspect this is a hardware issue, but I don't know how we could
confirm that if there's no good way to even boot FreeBSD on the machine.
You can try Linux, but it may have some patch for the hardware, even.
