 "reasonable" amount of time to some request.

There are no problems with WiFi in Windows 10.

 Right, but Windows 10 is not booted off of USB, so technically the setup
 you have here is not directly replicated. Can you try booting FreeBSD off
 of USB (TrueOS is fine), and see if it has the same issues with WiFi?

 This really sounds like a hardware problem...
