#2817: setpriority and getpriority are missing to compile ocaml out of the box under Haiku ---------------------------+----------------------------- Reporter: oco | Owner: nobody Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: System/POSIX | Version: R1/pre-alpha1 Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | Blocking: ---------------------------+----------------------------- Comment (by leavengood): FWIW these could also be useful (though probably not required) for the Rubinius port I am working on. If adding them is not too difficult it could improve our POSIX compatibility. Though reading about them and the code of our renice maybe they just don't make as much sense on a BeOS-like system. I certainly don't know how setting the priority for a user would work, but I guess setting the priority for a process could map to a thread in Haiku, and a process group could be a team. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/2817#comment:3> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
