 The POSIX specs are somewhat vague on this subject and leave quite a few
 things with regards to thread scheduling policy as "implementation-
 defined", but generally, the nice value for a process/team is completely
 independent of the priority of any individual thread within it, ergo the
 answer your question is, changing the priority of a given thread has no
 impact on the nice value.
