#6324: Haiku boot image fails on HP Vectra pentium 3 computer ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Reporter: Karvjorm | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Servers/app_server | Version: R1/alpha2 Resolution: | Keywords: Blocked By: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: All | Blocking: ---------------------------------+------------------------------------------ Comment (by tonestone57): I still believe this is a VESA related issue which is causing app server to crash. Note, in your syslogs you have: {{{ No VESA compatible graphics! }}} Saying VESA graphics is not available with your video card. I notice that phy = 0 for all of your listed VESA modes. phy should not be 0 (from looking at other syslogs). It should be something like: phy = f0000000, phy = d1000000, phy = c0000000, .... phy values are missing for you and good reason why you are not able to use VESA driver & modes. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/6324#comment:14> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
