 I still believe this is a VESA related issue which is causing app server

 Note, in your syslogs you have:

 {{{
 No VESA compatible graphics!
 }}}

 Saying VESA graphics is not available with your video card.

 I notice that phy = 0 for all of your listed VESA modes.  phy should not
 be 0 (from looking at other syslogs).  It should be something like: phy =
 f0000000, phy = d1000000, phy = c0000000, ....

 phy values are missing for you and good reason why you are not able to use
 VESA driver & modes.
