OPT was used in place of ALT on old Mac keyboards, that's way it used this name in BeOS. But modern x86 Macs no longer use OPT, only ALT. So, OPT is definitively wrong and misleading - at least until we don't have a working Haiku for PPC Macs :) WIN is better suited and everybody will understand it - including recent Mac owners who have CMD and the clover on that key; slightly older Macs have the Apple logo and the clover.
