 Thanks for replying. I don't seem to be alone with the problem at least.
 The log I did attach was of the failed second boot. Where are the settings
 for MTRR stored?? Is there a log file stored when running from LiveCD (CD
 boots every time)?

 I'll try the suggestion you gave me and reply back.

 The log was 475 uncompressed, so I thought it'd be more convenient to zip
 it. Now I know, thanks!
