#9393: NetworkInterfaces don't identify themselves properly while disabled -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: kallisti5 | Owner: axeld Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Unscheduled Component: Network & | Version: R1/Development Internet/Stack | Keywords: IsWireless IsEthernet Resolution: | BNetworkDevice Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by phoudoin): Or the stack's ioctl() should not reject SIOCGIFMEDIA because the interface is disabled. It's not like an interface's media will change next time it's enabled... Others SIOCGIF* may also be happy to respond even when itf is disabled. I didn't check which ones, though. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/9393#comment:1> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
