 You should not need to reboot Haiku; if the address does not update
 itself, it points to a problem of the link detection, though. In any case,
 you can update the DHCP lease using:

 {{{$ ifconfig /dev/net/ipro1000/0 auto-config}}}

 Also, have you tried setting a lower MTU? This can be done like this in a
 shell:

 {{{$ ifconfig /dev/net/ipro1000/0 mtu 1000}}}

 This should then also be visible in the `ifconfig` output.
