I probably need to sift them through myself first and narrow them down
somewhat. I will create a list of tracks that are probably suitable because
there is some rubbish in there as well as good stuff.
I have listened to them all at some point and probably played most of them on
shows at some point and have received feedback even on the ‘unknowns’.
I will do my sifting and put them on to a stick for you, but this isn’t a quick
process because I am also adding about 12 new tracks per week.
As we spoke about in the past it is probably a good idea to have a dedicated
New Rock show on the schedule so people can pass on comments for new music
that may not have got into the playlist yet although when we broadcast it will
only be new music from a few months previous. The rest of the new stuff should
go into the playlist.
I am personally not a fan of the ‘new music’ slot we have. I just don’t see why
it isn’t put into the main playlist and rotated. It can be introduced as a new
track / song by the DJ.
Anyway, that’s a long way of saying .... yes you can have the tracks...... but
only when I have sifted through them........ which is not yet!
