I noticed that ice in the sun by Quo was stuck there from last session and has
just come up . I think software is loking at 3 hours ago because a quo track
was played then on automation and not looking at what live djs are playing .

No. Sort of... The request list is purged at the end of each session. Nick was
keen that the daytime list didn't get swamped by requests and this would ensure
that at least the first few tracks were from the playlist.
However the reality is there are always 5-6 tracks already loaded in the player
which get carried across to the next session.
It's just controlled by a couple of scripts that run at preset times during the
day if we wanted to shift things around it can be done quite easily.
