Morning all,
I thought I'd just add some thoughts following Boris' announcement last night.
The main one being that as far as I can see it changes nothing as far as HR is
concerned.
Although we will be able to meet one other person from outside of our
household, this has to take place outside, so we're still not allowed to enter
other people's homes.
I know some DJs were hoping to co-present some shows, or even invite other DJs
to use their home studios, but I can't see that this is possible under the
Govt's new arrangements, unless I've missed something. It doesn't look as
though this advice will change until after HR goes off air either.
Therefore we're going to have to keep to the published Programme Schedule, as
we can't be seen to break the Govt guidelines.
(I am just about to send an email to the DJs updating them on Robojock & will
add this point as well)
I would like to make one suggestion though:
I know Ali Bolt was pencilled in to do a show on a Monday night between
10-midnight, in case things changed. I know that Sarah is covering this
tonight, but maybe we could get someone else to cover the final two weeks shows
in that slot?
Would Miles like to do another Grunge Show? Or maybe we could ask new HR DJ
Martin Turner if he'd like to do it? Another voice is always welcome.
Thoughts?
Cheers,
Andy
