I agree with you Tony. I am forever fielding messages on facebook from
organisations wanting cheap plugs and they always disappear when I ask for some
hard cash.When I asked Nigel Polley for his band Total Mayhem to play in the HR
Fest he wouldn't help us out and for that reason alone I would be against

the bus, he’s been approached by Nigel polley with a view to being granted an
interview slot on one of Phil’s shows to basically give a huge plug for the rye
festival (food based thing??) anyway, I have mixed feelings about this, it’s
good to plug local (ish) events, but we don’t do live interviews with other
organisations so I feel we shouldn’t be treating this one any differently. I
reckon that we could create a readout script and put in the what’s on folder
for people to use during their shows.... Again, thoughts please...(Obviously
