O.k. So concensus is NO.... I have directed Phil to that end, he will
take it from there, if Nigel would like a mention under the whats on
heading, then have asked Phil to ask him for a suitable readout type
entry that can be put in the Whats ON folder (Do we have one of those in
the Studio yet???)

I agree with Tony, a read out should be sufficient.

I agree with you Tony. I am forever fielding messages on facebook from
organisations wanting cheap plugs and they always disappear when I ask for
some hard cash.
When I asked Nigel Polley for his band Total Mayhem to play in the HR Fest he
wouldn't help us out and for that reason alone I would be against this.

Good evening team,
Had a call from Phil the bus, he's been approached by Nigel polley with a
view to being granted an interview slot on one of Phil's shows to basically
give a huge plug for the rye festival (food based thing??) anyway, I have
mixed feelings about this, it's good to plug local (ish) events, but we
don't do live interviews with other organisations so I feel we shouldn't be
treating this one any differently. I reckon that we could create a readout
script and put in the what's on folder for people to use during their
shows....
Again, thoughts please...
(Obviously Phil hasn't agreed to anything yet, and so he asked me.... and
needless to say I don't think they would be willing to pay us anything for
advertising....)
It's a tricky one, and could open flood gates.....
Sorry, NOW your thoughts please ( I thought I had finished typing 😁🤪)
Cheers
