Nick,
The entry on there is way out of date. It still mentions our mailing address as
the Robert! It is very likely the stream info they have has changed more than
once in all that time so I am not surprised there is no audio. I don't know who
put us on there. I did not as I've never heard of them. Anyway, I have sent
them some updated info and asked if they will change the entry.
On search, TuneIn is listed as is our website and our facebook page so I don't
think people will have any trouble finding us through a search engine. Apart
from TuneIn, we are also on Streema and vTuner as I added us a year or two ago
and they have not taken us down where we have been silent. So that covers the
major portals that I am aware of.
I note from the search we are also on something called uk-radio.co.uk who I
have never heard of. Our logo there is pretty poor though. Again I don't know
how we ended up there. Maybe a listener?
I need some info for Pure to get us listed on their radios. They are asking
for: RDS/RBDS PI code and frequency.
I know the frequency of course but do you have the RDS etc. codes? Are they
always the same or do Ofcom issue a different set for us each year?
I remember one year we must have been given the same codes as a nearby station
in France. When you came in under the Harrow bridge, the radio swapped from us
to them. I assumed that was the problem?
Simon.

** Hastings Rock Radio **
Sorry, I'm just playing catch up with some of the things on the list..
Simon: Is this the same Roberts radio setup we had an email exchange
about last year (have a look in your email for around 12/13th May, I can
re-send them to you if you haven't got them) & you eventually got it
working by modifying one of the playlist files?
If so, then the conclusion was those radios definitely needed an MP3
feed (didn't work with AAC+) and given they can clearly parse playlist
files (which gives us greater flexibility) the URL you want is:
http://www.hastingsrock.co.uk/128k-mp3.pls

I have just checked TuneIn and Vtuner and it seems we are still up on
those platforms. If anyone can think of any more we should be on please
let me know.
I am trying to add us to the Reciva database which covers early Roberts
radios. When I take a look on the Reciva website, there is a reference
to Hastings Rock within 'My Stations' and two refs in 'My streams'. All
of these are personal and all play. We do not appear on the general
station list for the UK. However, in that personal streams list only, I
can see the stream names. There are two, as follows;
Hastings Rock mp3 http://www.oasw.co.uk/hrock/stream.mp3
note:re-direct mp3
Hastings Rock aac www.oasw.co.uk/hrock/stream.aac
note:re-direct aac
Both of these seem to play without any problems. I will try to get us
onto the main database but I need to request this and provide them with
the stream info.
Which stream should I use? I have no idea what I used last time and
cannot find out through TuneIn or Vtuner as the stream info is hidden
