I'd say the absence of this is more down to focusing on the bare minimum necessary to get everyone up and running in what for a number of DJs is an unfamiliar environment. Adding a bunch of extraneous bits and pieces is liable to be overwhelming at the start (plus we didn't really have a lot of time to sort it out beforehand).

However now we're underway and people are becoming more familiar then personally I can't see any problem why we can't include useful stuff like this. You'd (or someone) need to provide the information though, I have (as you know) various links to local businesses in the Bexhill area that are still operating and doing things like food deliveries etc. Someone would need to collate all this information into a document, then mail it out to all the DJs with instructions.

Having listened to quite a bit of the output this year I wondered what
has happened to the weather forecast? People are going out for
essentials and to exercise so I am sure they would like a local forecast.

Also maybe some info where people could get help for any issue they may
have. The only person who has mentioned this (at least as far as I have
heard) has been Debs in her heavy rock show. She talked a little about
people suffering with mental health problems, particularly related to
lockdown and gave out a local (Sussex) number. I thought this was very
good and is the sort of thing we should be doing a little more of,
particularly given the circumstances we find ourselves.

I think when we were discussing this broadcast someone pointed out that
it would bring a sense of normality if we went ahead, as something for
the community. It would not be hard to re-instate the weather forecast
and probably not that hard to provide a little more local information
pointing out services that may help people cope with the situation.
Obviously that would be up to the individual presenters. There is not
very much local in the broadcast at the moment apart from Tony's show of
course and some songs in the playlist.

What do you think?
