This would involve Jon sorting all that out & I think he has enough on his
plate at the moment, unless he’s happy to sort it out of course.
I must admit I didn’t know there was a silence today either.
It’s hard enough trying to remember what day it is!

Perhaps it just needs to play a file with 2 minutes of silence. That way it
will be playing something. If the file can be forced to play at the start,
before any requests, that would do it. Jon will know if this is possible, I'm
sure. It might need an announcement at the start followed by the two minutes,
then something like 'This is Hastings Rock' to mark the end?
I am sorry this is such short notice but I was only reminded about it by
another radio station this morning.
Simon.

Good idea. Robojock May take some convincing though. Lol. I’m sure Jon will be
able to over come that.
If not schedule a two minute track of silence. That’ll confuse Robo.

Good idea, but won’t Robojock automatically kick in if there’s silence? I think
he’s been programmed to do that this year, just in case of DJ tech issues.

I know this is short notice as I have only just realised it is taking
place but are we observing a one minute silence at 11 o'clock this morning?
