Walter or Mike,
Please fix the indentation for Date Submitted. The draft dates do not need
to be shown. The last date is TBD when BIRD158.6 is officially submitted.
Please restore the Analysis history in BIRD158.6_draft5 that documents the
changes from BIRD158.2. Document changes only relevant to BIRD158.6.
Also, I think the figure terminals should be labeled "buffer terminals"
rather than "pad terminals". That is how they are defined, although the
channel diagram morphs buffer into pad.
TX
Ports 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the 4-port network are between the nodes 1, 2, 3 and
4 and the common reference node Ref, respectively. Ports 1 and 3 are at the
stimulus source side, and ports 2 and 4 are the transmitter analog buffer
model's output
RX
Ports 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the 4-port network are between the nodes 1, 2, 3 and
4 and the common reference node Ref, respectively. Ports 1 and 3 are the
receiver analog buffer model's input, and the waveforms at ports 2 and 4 are
the differential input to the Rx algorithmic model.
