Hi all,

Weird issue with freelists today - I sent a message telling everyone I
was going to change the meeting arrangements before I sent out the new
invite, but the message hasn't made it through the reflector. So - here
it is in current form:

I've changed the meeting arrangements for IBIS-Macro next Tuesday - you
should have already seen the invitation. The new setup will give us a
web collaboration feature so we can share documents and presentations
interactively. It's a little more complicated than the existing setup,
although there are telephone-only options if you prefer to use voice
only.

One of the interesting features of the new setup is that you can connect
to a web conference via your computer and them ask the server to call
your phone for the audio portion. Please note that the server dials
from within Cisco, so you need to prepend "91" to your phone number
(i.e., I'd use 919789362149 to have it call my desk phone).

Also please note that the invite you should have received has different
links for people dialing from inside and outside the Cisco intranet.
Make sure you use the appropriate link, or you're sure to run into
problems.

I was assuming you would have also received a message to cancel the
original meeting scheduled for next Tuesday (in addition to the
invitation to the new meeting). Outlook seems to have outwitted me
here; when I deleted the original meeting it decided the old invite had
never been sent and therefore didn't need to be cancelled. I have
residual problems from having merged calendars in the distant past -
this appears to be one of them. Suffice it to say, if you have a
meeting in your calendar for next Tuesday with a "877 384 0543" dial-in
number - delete it, because we're not using that one.

If we get through next Tuesday in one piece, I'll change future meetings
to the new scheme. Cisco is just rolling this new scheme out, so we
have the option of "deferring" our adoption of the new process if next
week's meeting proves, uh, problematic.

Talk to you next Tuesday!

Todd.
