- Arpad: Write parameter passing syntax proposal (BIRD draft)

5) Discuss AMI related questions from Mentor
a) Should each GetWave call be required to contain an integer multiple
of samples per bit (integer number of bit intervals)?
- Mentor's preference: yes
b) Is there a requirement to use 2^N samples per bit? Some models do
have such "preference", and we don't know how to find out that such
a requirement exists in the model from its .ami file.
- Mentor's preference: no
c) How many clock ticks are expected to be returned by a GetWave call?
(Number of bits, or number of samples). Need to know since EDA tool
needs to allocate the memory for the clock ticks.
- Mentor's preference: equal to number of bits in the call, possibly
with one extra tick
d) Is the GetWave call size allowed to vary between calls? Both getting
larger or smaller?
e) Are the clock ticks returned by GetWave expected to be aligned with
sample times, or can they be anywhere in time?
- Mentor's preference: no (otherwise, ticks could be made of type
'integer')
6) Verify final flow for the 5.1 specification
