All, I have added several slide to the Package and On-Die Interconnect presentation. The first slide added " Generating the s8p for full DQ bus from the s4p", documents the discussion we had in the last IBIS-ATM meeting on how to generate a large sNp for a full bus from a smaller sNp containing a victim and just a few aggressors. The next three slides is a discussion of a higher level abstraction of a package model describing a bus with NEXT and FEXT aggressors. This requires a better requirement document from Scott. Method 1 is using the existing proposal, using Model_name to identify NEXT and FEXT aggressors. Method two describes the terminals as either FEXT and NEXT with an additional Model_names keyword identifying the bus that this model should be applied to. The EDA vendor says, "I can't help you because I can't see inside the model." The model vendor says, "I can't help you because I don't own that tool." The user is left with a non-functional model. 14) What is the purpose of the specification? Describe the syntax and rules of the syntax, or tell the reader how to make models? - questions/comments/discussion?
